Brighton up your life. Continued
It's all here: shops dedicated to beads or bikes; healthy food shops (like Infinity Foods on North Road) and unhealthy food shops (Audrey's in the Lanes is the most brilliant old-fashioned chocolate shop). If you end up in Brighton on a Sunday, the market next to the station is a must for second-hand knick-knacks and furniture. Last but not least is the New Age shopping.
Greenwich Village on Bond Street sums it up. The dark and cavernous
interior is packed with tie-dies, ethnic knick-knacks, African masks,
incense sticks and so on. A relatively new addition to the scene caters
for the Mystic Meg in us all - the aforementioned Hocus Pocus. Here you
can change your life with books and tapes, get a little help from destiny
with tarot cards and buy all your paraphernalia for smoking strange substances.
It's fab. So what do we say to shopping in Brighton: here we come, here
we come, here we come! Find out more about staying in Brighton at Paskins Town House Hotel Reproduced with permission from Time Out. 18/19 Charlotte Street, Brighton,
